    We are very excited to have recently submitted a new Development Application for our\u00a0Castle Cove House.<\/p>\n

    Our clients came to us with a uniquely sloped\u00a0site, and with a desire to take advantage of the\u00a0northernly aspect as well as\u00a0bushland\u00a0and\u00a0water views. The result was a generous dual winged estate, with expansive living and family spaces, large enough to accommodate\u00a0the family and its guests.<\/p>\n

    In addition to PWAs\u00a0commitment\u00a0to environmentally sensible design principles, Castle Cove House was also required to address the challenges of Willoughby Council’s E4 Environmental Living Zone principles.<\/p>\n

    Recognising the significance\u00a0of Willoughby’s natural landscape, we created a series of multi-levelled landscaped courtyards and gardens,\u00a0emphasising\u00a0strong relationships\u00a0to the internal living spaces. This allowed us to\u00a0ultimately achieve four storeys of living and dormitory spaces, terracing\u00a0down the natural slope of the\u00a0sandstone escarpment, while\u00a0preserving\u00a0significant rock formations.<\/p>\n

    With native landscaping within the courtyards and gardens, the\u00a0building blends seamlessly with the natural landscape of the site, creating the perfect balance for both clients and council.<\/p>\n
