It’s almost there!
The living room’s gently curved ceiling will soon glow, casting a soft, atmospheric light. The smooth headspace will diffuse light with ease. In the bedrooms, built-in joinery such as the custom wardrobe is now installed, complementing the home’s heritage style with refined craftsmanship.Outside, the space is taking form too. A veranda wraps around the house, where you can imagine sipping coffee as white wisteria sways in the breeze.
Restoring Character with Contemporary Comfort
Our Haberfield heritage renovation is nearing its final stages, and we’re thrilled to see this charming Federation home returning to life. With the structural work nearly complete, the interiors are beginning to shine. One standout detail is the gently curved ceiling in the living room — soon to glow with soft, ambient lighting. This architectural feature not only enhances the atmosphere but also respects the home’s original design intent.
Verandah and Outdoor Details Take Shape
Outside, the transformation is equally exciting. The wrap-around verandah is under construction, soon to offer the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee under the shade of white wisteria, bringing timeless charm to the home’s façade. With the roof now complete, you can fully appreciate the generous proportions of both the indoor and outdoor living spaces.
Exciting Progress on Site
It was an exciting day as the three steel portal frames arrived on-site and were carefully craned into position. You can now see the emerging form of the new addition taking shape!
Demolition is underway!
During demolition, we stripped away the unsympathetic 1960s additions, revealing the home’s original framework. A delightful surprise emerged: a beautifully preserved original ceiling, previously hidden behind decades-old plasterboard. This discovery has been integrated into the renovation, highlighting our commitment to celebrating the building’s authentic features.
